Deep stretch yoga is an active stretching class that targets primary muscle groups which surround hips, hamstrings & back. Tight muscles can cause imbalance and pull the body out of alignment. This class begins with warm up movements to build heat and prepare muscles for a deep stretch on your yoga mat for a 1-2min hold with breath and safe modifications. We will hold poses longer, focusing inward and on breath which will give your body time to relax and open. So Lean in, breathe deep, stretch it out and connect to something bigger inside yourself that will bring you more centered and balanced into self care.
