•Visceral Manipulation•
This is a type of gentle manual therapy that aids your body's ability to release restrictions and unhealthy compensations that cause pain and dysfunction. In the picture is what a fascia restriction looks like in your organs. From the stomach, large intestines to the L ovary this is a fascia restriction within the abdominal cavity. If you see the tension lines in my shirt from stomach, intestines to ovaries, you might have constipation, bloating or even painful periods. Many things happen in pregnancy where things are shoved around or even kicked in such a small space. Then you give birth and are in postpartum and many shifts have happened in so many weird ways you know something feels off, tight or wrong. But maybe this isn’t you, maybe you have scar tissue from a past surgery, vomiting from a bad case of the flu, a hernia from lifting too much or you just sneezed harder than usual. Well all of this can cause a negative disruption within. This is why manual abdominal therapies can be so important and beneficial to everyone. You can go to the @barralinstitute to find your local licensed practitioner that can do the work and also teach you some self care methods to help you become more free on the inside out! . . #visceralmanipulation #movementmatters #integrativebodywork #devinefeminine #motherhood #strongasamother #momfit #doulalife #birthfit #vaginahealth #yonisteam #wombhealing #childbirth #postpartum #gausha #chi #prana #yingyang #supportsmallbusiness #shopsmall #womenownedbiz #ancientfemininewisdom #wisewomen #southernpinesnc #massagetherapy #cuppingtherapy #tcm #chinesemedicine
