Babywearing + Yoga = FUN!! For moms who are at least 6 weeks postpartum and pre-crawling babies. Nurture yourself while caring for your baby. YogiRoo focuses on the caregiver with the flexibility of caring for your baby throughout the class. These classes have their own special rhythm, we are all parents, so soothing crying babies, changing diapers, and feeding baby in class is the norm. 😊 This class is designed for ALL mamas who are at least 6 weeks postpartum and appropriate until baby is crawling. No prior yoga experience required. YogiRoo is a safe place to explore your postpartum body and connect with other new moms. Benefits for moms: * Rebuild strength in the physical body – abdominal and pelvic floor strengthening * Soothe common aches of new parenthood – neck, shoulders and lower back * Rejuvenate your energy through breath guided postures * A warm, supportive community — essential during the postpartum period! A special class designed for infants and pre-crawlers accompanied by a parent/adult that is able to be worn in a Tula or safe babywearing wrap. We will explore our bodies through organic movement, stretching and postures all introduced in the element of creative play and games. You are invited to come play and interact with your youngster(s). Natasha Baker has taught Baby and Mom classes in a gymnastics setting through college and her young adult life since 2002. As a nurse, certified birth and postpartum doula through DONA International she has offered support in several different professional settings and has been an open ear to hundreds of woman as they journey together through motherhood. Natasha is the mother of three children, 2 daughters and a infant son. She continues to support her work by continually educating herself through books, and attending professional workshops and trainings. What to Bring/Wear: Please bring a yoga mat, extra blanket for your baby to lie or sit on, and a small toy. Dress yourself comfortably for movement.
