Botox temporarily weakens/paralyzes muscles, which changes blood flow and skin temperature patterns. Since thermography measures those exact changes, a recent Botox treatment can make scans less accurate.
General recommendation: Wait about 4–6 weeks after Botox injections before having a thermography scan for the most accurate assessment. Why: • Within this period, the acute changes in blood flow and inflammation from the injection settle. • Muscle activity and circulation stabilize enough that thermography shows your true baseline rather than Botox-related effects. Not many know the harmful effects of botox being a neurotoxin and how it attacks the CNS over time. This is to shame or bash, but it’s so you can make your own inform choice to know the reality. There is research, lawsuits and data to prove this. So if this is something you are seeking you can go follow nevertox or botox fillers side effects. You can also go to my highlights and take the time to listen into the podcast “The Glow Life” by Maria Marlow where she interviews, Ray Chester a civil Law Attorney that has been on these cases of severe and fatal injuries for decades.
